Barranquismo en Euskadi

A great option to start in the world of canyoning in the Basque Country

The Agiñaga ravine is located in the Ayala Valley, in the Basque province of Álava in the Basque Country, but almost bordering the provinces of Biscay and Castilla y León, very close to Vitoria-Gasteiz and Bilbao. An unbeatable option for practicing canyoning in Euskadi!

The Agiñaga or Agiñiga ravine is a very good and beautiful option to dive into the world of canyoning or ravine descent in the Basque Country, as it does not present major technical difficulty and the rappels in this descent are very beautiful but free of complexity.

Under the watchful eye of Mount Ungino, with an altitude of 1,098 meters, this place is one of the natural gems of the valley. Moreover, this majestic mountain offers panoramic views and is a popular destination for hiking and nature lovers, where, in our case, moving along the lower part of the mountain will provide a unique experience of connection with the region’s natural environment.
